Prince Niran Adeyoju, President of Providence Coalition and Chairman of SDM Group, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Senator Yunus Akintunde on his appointment as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on the South West Development Commission (SWDC).

The establishment of the SWDC was formalized following President Bola Tinubu’s assent to the bill in March 2025, as part of a broader initiative to create regional development commissions across Nigeria.
