The Royal family of Oke Ila has been thrown into mourning following the death of Olori Solape Abolarin, wife of the Orangun of Oke Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin.
In a statement announcing her death , the Asojuoba of Orangun Oke Ila, Chief Jibola Awoseyi called on the community to rally around the monarch during the period of grief.

The Statement reads “Gentlemen, it’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Olori Solape, wife of Kabiyesi, the Orangun of Oke Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin.

“Please extend your condolences to our father and friend during this difficult time. May her soul find eternal peace.”
It was gathered that, as at the time of filing in this report, the cause of her death was unknown .
Until her death, Olori Solape Abolarin was the Executive Secretary Osun State Council for Art and Culture, Osogbo.
The Deaseased was a respected public servant and businesswoman, widely admired for her dedication to community development and unwavering support of her husband’s philanthropic and traditional leadership.
