Chief Superintendent of Police, Benjamin Hundeyin has been appointed as the new Force Public Relations Officer, FPRO of the Nigeria Police Force, replacing Deputy Commissioner of Police Muyiwa Adejobi, who has been redeployed to the Delta State Police Command.

CSP Hundeyin has been serving as the Lagos State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer since March 2022.

He holds a Bachelor degree in English Language from Lagos State University and a Master’s degree in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan.

He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, International Public Relations Association, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, and has undergone specialized training in Civil-Military Coordination and served in the United Nations-African Union Mission in Darfur.

The Nigeria Police Force described DCP Adejobi’s redeployment as part of routine administrative adjustments aimed at career progression and manpower optimization, stressing that it is neither punitive nor controversial.
