Oyo Tinubu/shettima women presidential campaign organization has solicited the support of religious leaders in Oyo state for the presidential ambition of the All Progressives Congress candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The campaign organization coordinated by wife of former governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi, Dr Florence, visited the religious leaders in various locations in Ibadan to canvass for discples for Tinubu/Shettima mandate with a view to winning the 2023 presidential election.

The organization on Wednesday met the Christian Association Of Nigeria in Oyo state, at the state CAN Secretariate, Ijokodo, where Dr Florence Ajimobi allayed the fears of christains on allegations of possible religious bias.

She said the APC presidential campaign would not discriminate against any tribe or religion, if elected

Responding, Oyo state CAN chairman, Apostle Joshua Akinyemiju said the Christain leaders have relied on God’s direction and prayer for a God fearing man to emerge in the 2023 general election.

Apostle Akinyemiju emphasized the need for people of integrity to hold key position in governance in Nigeria, urging chirstains to take up the challenge, get involved and be effective in politics.

Meanwhile, Oyo Tinubu/shettima women presidential campaign organization also met with representatives of all Muslim women groups in Oyo state at the Isaiq Ajimobi mosques, Oke Ado where the coordinator assured them of pleasant reward system, implementable policies and programmes for women empowerment.

Dr. Mrs Ajimobi described Asiwaju as a builder of men, gender sensitive and a transformer who provided a solid foundation for Lagos to strive.

She urged members of the groups to ensure that they obtained their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs and actively participate in the forthcoming elections.

Responding on behalf of the Muslim Women groups, An Associate Professor, Zarat Uthman pledged the support of the groups for the Presidential bid of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
