The topmost priority of the Incoming administration of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu should be the attainment of national unity.
This was the submission of an Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Mohammad Apooyin at the 2023 Ramadan lecture of the National Orientation Agency, NOA, Oyo state Directorate held at the agency’s office in Ibadan.
Delivering the lecture titled “Islam: Searchlight for Good Governance”, Sheikh Apooyin, who is a lecturer of Arabic and Islamic studies at the University of Ilorin, Kwara state, said newly elected leaders in the country must, on assumption of office, begin to look inwards to solve the issue of ethno-religious sentiments.
