Governor Seyi Makinde has received the Sweden Ambassador to Nigeria, Ghana and ECOWAS Her Excellency, Ms Annika Hahn-Englund who led a team from the Swedish Embassy to Oyo state
On Ms Hahn-Englund’s delegation were Swedish investors led by Sweden’s Business Regional Manager, West Africa and Transport Practice Lead Africa, Anthonia Adenaya Huard.
According to report, the delegation was in Ibadan, Oyo state capital on a courtesy visit to the state.
Governor Seyi Makinde said the Swedish investors are interested in various sectors of Oyo State’s economy including technology related agribusiness and education, transportation, renewable energy and culture.
Governor Makinde said their interest were important as highlighted in Oyo State Roadmap for Sustainable Development 2023-2027.
He assured the delegation of his administration’s support and commitment to creating conducive environment for investors in Oyo State.
