OYSCATECH Condoles With Oyo Assembly Speaker, Describes Mother’s Death As Monumental Loss

The Governing Council Chairman, Prof. Lateef Sanni, and Rector, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi have on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora condole with the Rt. Hon Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin on the death of his mother, the Iyaloja General of Ibarapa Land, Chief (Mrs) Justina Ogundoyin.

The Council Chairman and the Rector described the death of Chief Mrs Justina Ogundoyin as a monumental loss to the State.

In their words, “we received the news of the demise of Chief Mrs Justina Ogundoyin as a rude shock. She left this world at a time when her wealth of experience, counsel and support are much needed.

“She was a kind hearted, humane and loving woman who stood as a pillar of support behind his son, the Rt. Honourable Speaker of Oyo State and her late husband while alive. Besides, as a business woman, her business acumen was noticeable in Oyo State leading to her emergence as the Iyaloja General of Ibarapa Land.

“We therefore express our heartfelt condolences to the Rt. Hon. Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, the entire Ogundoyin family, friends, Eruwa Community and Ibarapa Land at this period of grief while urging the Speaker to take solace in the late mum’s exemplary life and her good legacies.”

They prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, while praying God to grant the Late Chief Mrs Justina Ogundoyin eternal rest.
