Staff and management of the Oyo State Solid Waste Management Authority (OYOWMA) have celebrated the Chairman of the agency, Hon. Adeniyi Akanbi, popularly known as “Biiro,” on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message signed by General Manager, Oyo state Solid Waste Management Authority, Engineer Adewale Afolabi on behalf of the staff, described Akanbi as a committed and impactful chairman whose leadership has contributed significantly to the efforts of the authority to keep Oyo State clean, beautiful and environmentally healthy.
They commended his dedication to improving the operations of the authority, noting that his leadership has strengthened the agency’s efforts towards effective solid waste management across the state.
The staff also acknowledged the support of the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, particularly in providing the necessary tools and equipment required by the authority to discharge its responsibilities effectively.
According to them, the availability of operational resources has enhanced the capacity of OYSWMA personnel to contribute meaningfully to the cleanliness and environmental sustainability of the state.
The staff and management prayed for more years of good health, wisdom, prosperity and abundant blessings for the chairman, while wishing him continued success in his service to the people of Oyo State.
They said: “We celebrate our Chairman, Hon. Adeniyi Akanbi (Biiro), on his birthday and appreciate his immense contributions to the Oyo State Solid Waste Management Authority. We wish him many more years in good health, prosperity and abundant blessings.
