Oyo State Representative Emerges Chairman NYCN Forum Of Chairmen

Comrade AbdulSalam Abdul—Quadri, the Oyo State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN has been elected its new Chairman of Chairmen of the youth council.

This is contained in a statement issued at the end of a national meeting of the Chairmen’s Forum of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) convened in Kaduna State on Sunday, 4th February, 2024.

The Forum ratified the new Steering Committee for the leadership of the Forum following the expiration of tenure of the former leadership.

The statement notes that “Representing the interests of the Nigerian youth, the Chairmen’s Forum unanimously elected and ratified the constitution of a new leadership as follows:

a. Com. AbdulSalam Abdul—Quadri, the State Chairman for Oyo as its new Chairman of Chairmen.

b. Prince Gara Nongha, the Taraba State Chairman as its new Deputy—Chairman of Chairmen for Northern Nigeria.

c. Com. Godwin Emeji, the Ebonyi State Chairman as its new Deputy—Chairman of Chairmen for Southern Nigeria.

d. Com. Nathaniel Bagudu, the Kaduna State Chairman as its new Secretary.

e. Com. Nasir Alli, the Kwara State Chairman as its new Treasurer

f. Com. Nwisabri Bani, the Rivers State Chairman as its new PRO; and lastly.

g. Com. Usman Ogohi, the Kogi State Chairman as its new Welfare Secretary

“In addition, the Chairmen’s Forum reiterates its vote of confidence in the leadership of the National President, Amb. Sukubo Sara—Igbe Sukubo. They commended him as the only elected and recognized President representing the interests of the young people of Nigeria.

“The Chairmen’s Forum, on behalf of the entire youth of Nigeria, further expresses solidarity with the Grand Commander of the Nigerian Youth (GCNY) and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as we call on Mr. President to expedite action and strengthen the nation’s security architecture as the youth pledges to continue provide intelligence support towards creating an enabling environment for economic development and prosperity of the nation.
