Oyo South Poll: Tegbe Declares Next Line Of Action, Reaffirms Commitment To Makinde’s 2nd Term Bid

The Oyo South Senatorial Candidate under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Oyo state, Mogaji Joseph Tegbe has reaffirmed his commitment to the reelection bid of the sitting governor of Oyo state, Engr Seyi Makinde.

Joseph Tegbe lost the election to become Oyo South senator to the All Progressives Congress APC candidate, Sharafadeen Alli at the just concluded National Assembly Election help on Saturday.

In a statement obtained by Journalists in Ibadan, the PDP Chieftain said:

“I wish to use the opportunity again to thank you for your support before and during the election. My sincere appreciation to our loyalist, the volunteers and all supporters of the Tegbe Movement and the PDP at large for their good efforts towards the just concluded elections.”

“As good citizens of our country and stakeholders in our Senatorial District, you have performed your civic responsibility by coming out to vote, and peacefully too. I urge everyone to remain calm as we are studying the results from various units and wards especially those places where the official report differ from our field report. As such, this result is unacceptable and I want to assure you that any electoral fraud discovered will be challenged within the full ambit of the law”
