Oyo South Senatorial Candidate under the platform of Accord, Okoye Kolapo Kola-Daisi has expressed gratitude his constituents, party faithful and loyalists for their unwavering support throughout the course of the election, held on Saturday, 25th February, 2023.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, 28th February, 2023, Oloye Kolapo Kola-Daisi stated that “I know this is not the outcome we were hoping for, but I want to assure you that this is not the end of our journey. We have fought hard for our beliefs, and although we did not succeed this time, we should not lose hope or give up on our aspirations for a better future through performance-driven representation and people-centered ideas.”

“It is important to acknowledge the democratic process and respect the choice of our fellow citizens. While we may be disappointed with this outcome, we must accept it with grace and humility. This is the beauty of democracy – the people’s voice is heard, and we must respect their decision. I hereby congratulate the candidate of the APC, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli, winner of the Oyo South Senatorial district election; and I wish him the best as he prepares to represent our constituency.”
