Oyo South 2027: ‘Odidiomo’ Appoints Former Youth Commissioner, Fakorede As Director Youth Mobilization
The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) senatorial candidate for Oyo south senatorial district, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide Odidiomo, has appointed former Oyo state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Seun Fakorede, as Director of Youth Mobilization of the Odidiomo Campaign Organization ahead of the 2027 elections.
The appointment places Fakorede, a youth development advocate and former member of the Oyo state Executive Council, at the centre of the campaign organization’s efforts to engage youths across the nine local government areas of Oyo south senatorial district.
He is expected to work with youth leaders, organizations and stakeholders across Oyo south as the campaign organization intensifies its engagement ahead of the polls.
Fakorede, who is a civil engineering graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, was appointed Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports in 2019 at the age of 27, becoming the youngest state commissioner in Nigeria at the time.
He is also the founder of Home Advantage Africa, a social development and youth empowerment organization.
