Oyo LG Election: Oyo Speaker, Youth Commissioner Vote, Commend OYSIEC, Electorate
Speaker, Oyo state house of assembly, Mr Adebo Ogundoyin has described the local government election in Ibarapa east local government as one of the best council election in the area
The Ibarapa born politician and chairman, conference of speakers of state legislature in Nigeria commended Oyo state Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC for conducting a seamless and organized election.
Mr Ogundoyin after casting his vote at ward 2 Anko area of Eruwa at about forty-five minutes past 10 in the morning explained that the peaceful conduct of the election was a testament to governor Seyi Makinde’s promises of a credible poll.
Similarly, Oyo state commissioner for Youth and sports, Miss Wasilat Adegoke while speaking shortly after voting at Ward 9, polling unit 2, Lanlate, urged electorate in the council to come out en-mass to exercise their franchise.
Also speaking, former house of Reps Member, who represnted Ido Ibarapa Federal Constituency in the 9th assembly, Mr Yemi Taiwo commended the peaceful conduct of electorate and advocated improved awareness on participation in local government election in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, security agencies are at strategic locations to forestall any breakdown of law and order.
Reverse is the case here in Olorunsogo local government Igbeti.
The election is not free and fair, nothing like credible election here in my local government.
But still I believe in Mr Osysiec chairman that he is a man on integrity also I so much believe that our dear Governor, His excellence Engineer Seyi Makinde will take the necessary action on the issue here in Olorunsogo to favour we the people of Olorunsogo local government and not the minority.
