The Governorship Candidate of Action Democratic Party, ADP, for 2023 general elections, in Oyo State, Mr. Akim Yusuf, has Commiserated with victims of Thursday evening fire incident in Àpáta area of Ibadan.
He consoled the traders whose shops and goods were razed in the inferno not to be downcasted or embittered but take solace in God and the potency of his divine power at turning situations around while praying God to grant them recompense for their losses as they pick up the strength to restart their businesses and lives.
“Unfortunate accidents like this will occur once in a while, but our faith in our abilities to keep going strong and in the protection of the Almighty must not waiver so that we can bounce back from negative occurences.” Yusuf stated
Mr Yusuf who commended the prompt response of the men of Oyo State Fire Service at quenching the inferno, praised residents of the area for their comportment and calmness, urging motorists plying the axis to be extra careful and adhere to safety precautions to avert a reoccurrence.
