The Chairman,.Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, OSSIEC, Mr Hasim Abioye has declared all the candidates of People’s Democratic Party, PDP winners of Saturday’s local government election in the state
The party candidates won the election to fill the vacant seat of the Thirty Local Government Areas of the State.
Also, the People Democratic Party, PDP Councillorship Candidates emerged as winners of the 332 wards.
Mr. Abioye stated this while declaring the results of the Election to Newsmen in Osogbo.
He emphasized that the Election was conducted in compliance with Constitutional Provisions, extant Laws and guidelines to fill the vacancies in the Three Hundred and Thirty Two wards and the Thirty Local Government Areas of the State.
The OSSIEC Boss appreciated the People of Osun State for trooping Out enmasse to participate in the Election.
He also lauded the Inter – Party Advisory Council IPAC, Members of the Forum of State Independent Electoral Commission of Nigeria ,Civil Society Groups, Independent Observers and the media community.
