The All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate in the Osun State governorship election, Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke, who was declared the winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Alhaji Oyebamiji stated this while addressing APC leaders, members, and supporters in Osogbo on the outcome of the election and the party’s next steps.

He expressed gratitude to the party’s members and supporters for their sacrifices, prayers, resilience, and support throughout the election campaign, saying their commitment to his Prosperity Agenda remained indelible in his heart.

The APC candidate also lauded the party’s leaders, including President Bola Tinubu, former Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, for their guidance and support.
Alhaji Oyebamiji said the party could not forget the violence and deaths recorded during the election period and sympathised with the families of those affected.
He called on relevant security agencies to thoroughly investigate the incidents and ensure that those responsible face justice.
Alhaji Oyebamiji maintained that no political contest should result in the loss of lives, urging his supporters to remain calm, united, and committed to democratic values.
He said that where there were legitimate concerns over the election, the party would continue to pursue justice and fairness through lawful and constitutional means.
The APC candidate urged party members to remain resolute and prepare for the 2027 general elections, saying their immediate responsibility was to mobilise support for the re-election of President Tinubu and the success of all APC candidates in the state.
