Ondo Amotekun Arrests Three Farmers
Twenty-seven suspected criminals including three young farmers who kidnapped a traveller have been arrested by the Ondo State security network, codenamed Amotekun.
The three farmers nabbed for kidnapping are; Obanobi Temitayo, 19years; Ogundele ojo, 20years and Pelemo Samuel, 19year-old.
Parading the suspects, the State Commander of Amotekun corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye said the three kidnappers who claimed to be farmers were apprehended at a forest around border town of Ikakumo Akoko-Kogi/Edo states axis.
According to Chief Adeleye, a notorious Okada snatcher named Michael Ojo was apprehended in Owo/Akoko areas for stealing many motorcycles and sold at riduculous amount ranging between N30,000 and N50,000.
The Amotekun Commander also paraded armed robbers who specialised in looting matrass shops.
The Security Chief said all the arrests were made under the recently launched Amotekun Forest Rangers, charging the residents of Ondo state to be more vigilant and report suspicious faces or movements to security agencies.
