Former deputy governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore has called on women in the party to support his Governorship ambition.
Senator Omisore made the appeal during a meeting with women leaders from the three Senatorial districts of Osun State held at Omisore’s campaign office in Osogbo.
He explained that the engagement with the women leaders of the Party became imperative because women are the pillar of the Society.
The former national secretary of the All Progressive Congress, APC, maintained that the APC is waxing stronger, considering the increasing number of defectors from the opposition Party.
Senator Omisore assured that the youth and old would be adequately catered for if he emerged as the APC flag bearer come 2026 Osun Governorship Election.
In separate remarks, APC Stalwarts including; Mr. Folorunsho Bamisayemi, Mr. Aliyu Bakare and Mr. Ajibola Famurewa described Senator Iyiola Omisore as the most qualified Governorship Candidate who has been in Politics for 32 years and possessed capacity to oust the incumbent Governor of the State.
Also Contributing the State APC Women leader, Alhaja Kudirat Fakokunde who said the women were ready to support him, expressed the hope that he would eventually emerge as the APC flag bearer Come 2026 Osun Governor Election.
