Oba Ladoja @81: Reps’ Member, ‘Odidiomo’ Extends Heartfelt Felicitation To Olubadan Designate

The lawmaker representing Ibadan north-west/Ibadan south-west federal constituency of Oyo state, in the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide, has joined well wishers across the country to celebrate former Governor of Oyo State and Olubadan-Designate, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, as he clocked 81 years of age.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, made available to newsmen by his Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Tolu Mustapha, Hon. Olajide, described the life of the Olubadan designate and respected statesman as one of courage, resilience and uncommon service to humanity, noting that his story remains a source of pride and inspiration to generations of Ibadan sons and daughters.

According to the federal lawmaker, Oba Ladoja has not only distinguished himself as a politician of principle but also as a leader whose vision, candour and deep commitment to the unity and progress of Ibadanland and Oyo State have remained indelible.

He said, “I heartily rejoice with our father, the Olubadan-Designate, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on the joyous occasion of his 81st birthday. Baba has lived an exemplary life devoted to the service of Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria. His sacrifices, both in and out of government, continue to shape our democracy and inspire those of us in public service. At 81, Kabiyesi remains a symbol of wisdom, equity and selfless leadership.”

Hon. Olajide further prayed for sound health, peace of mind and longevity for the monarch, while expressing confidence that Ibadanland under the leadership of the Olubadan-Designate would witness greater unity, growth and harmony among the traditional institution, political class and the people.
