Residents of Ibadan have continued to express worry on the deadline given by the Central Bank over the validity of the old naira notes for transaction.
Newsmen who visited some Automated tellers machine in Ibadan reports that the frustrations of people over the long queue by bank customers almost led to free for all.
Some of the customers became impatient and confronted a man who they alleged came with five different ATM cards to withdraw for his family members.
It was observed that Many customers at the ATM machines were discussing in groups over the difficulty of getting the new naira note.
Meanwhile, A customer Mr Mufutau Adesoji, who left out of annoyance said he can no longer queue under the sun.
He appealed to the Central Bank to extend the deadline on the usage of the old naira note considering the plight of the people in accessing it.
It would be recalled that The Governor of Central Bank Godwin Emiefiele had insisted that no going back on the deadline given which would take effect on the 31st of this month, since the notice of one hundred days had been given since last year.
