The National Broadcasting Commission, Nbc, Has Expressed Concern Over The Illegal Action Of The Zamfara State Government For Shuting Down Operations Of Broadcast Stations In The State.
In A Statement Signed By The Director General, Nbc, Balarabe Shehu-Ilelah, The Commission Requests The State Government To Expeditiously Reverse The Directive And Apologise To The People Of The State.
The Statement Indicates The Commission’s Readiness To Resist Any Attempt To Cause A Breach Of Law And Order Through The Misuse Of Broadcast Media In Nigeria, Before, During And After The 2023 Elections.
It Says Any Aggrieved Person Or Institution With Genuine Complaints Arising From Unprofessional Conduct By Any Licensed Broadcaster To Follow The Laid Down Processes Enshrined In The Nigeria Broadcasting Code.
