An appeal to save his life has been sent to security personnel in Oyo state by Mr. Musiliu Muili, also known as Ajanaku, who is a member of the banned National Union of Road Transport Workers in the state.
Ajanaku claimed that Mr. Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary, the head of the state’s park management system, and his men have tried to kill him.
Ajanaku also made a public plea for help, alleging that the PMS chairman and his men were primarily out to get him, just as they had allegedly slain one of their own, Kabiru Kokoro, just a few months earlier.
Ajanaku spoke with Westerndailynews on Thursday following the alleged attack on him on Wednesday at the Hope Bus Stop in Alakia, by hoodlums believed to be affiliated with the PMS.
“I was riding on motorcycle towards the bus stop gate when I heard the words “Ajanaku ni yen, ara won Olopoeyan ni yen” ( that is Ajanaku, he is one of the Olopoeyan boys ). They crossed the bike I was riding and attacked me with daggers and cutlasses after exiting their vehicles; one of them also had a side gun. Because they had decided to kill, my best course of action was to flee for my life.”
“Through the rear of some nearby stores, I was able to flee, and I went to the Gbagi Police station to report the event. Police officers accompanied me to the location and during their investigation advised me to exercise extra caution and, if at all possible, to flee for my life.
Ajanaku explained that the Palm Slippers that he left behind during the attack were cut into pieces by one of the Auxiliary boys.
“I want the police and the people of Oyo state to rescue my life from Auxiliary. He once led some security men to my house a year ago, but I was able to flee at the time. Ajanaku begged for assistance in escaping Auxiliary and his men”.
