A commercial motorcyclist known as Tunde has allegedly been stabbed to death by a carpenter called Sunday in Ejigbo osun state.
Tunde who passed on in the early hours of today, Monday, was said to have been stabbed yesterday, Sunday evening at Idii seke(drr-rr) Ejigbo.
A witness,Abiba jimoh told newsmen that Sunday, who had always been disturbing her, pounced on her around eight in the evening yesterday and started harassing her.
She said the deceased Tunde who was at the scene was not pleased as the harassment persisted and made an attempt to caution Sunday.
Abiba said in the process they got involved in a scuffle before Sunday brought a knife and sliced Tunder in the stomach.
Another witness said an attempt to carry Tunde after being stabbed was frustrated by Sunday and other miscreants as they threw stones at them.
He said the matter had been reported at Ejigbo police divisional headquarters, while the remains of Tunde had been deposited in a morgue.
A police source who confirmed the incident to journalists ,said police was on the trail of the fleeing suspected Sunday, the Sunday killer.
