The Ondo State government has presented new Toyota SUV vehicles to traditional rulers in the State.
All Grade ‘A’ Obas are presented with a Toyota Fortuner Jeep, 2025 model, while all Grade ‘B and C’ Obas will receive a Toyota Cross Jeep, 2025 model.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa who made the presentation explained that the vehicles were provided to ease the mobility of traditional rulers reflecting the administration’s commitment to prioritizing the monarchs welfare.

He urged them to continue fostering peace and unity in their respective domains.
Speaking on behalf of the monarchs, the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas and the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin described the gesture as historic.
He commended the governor for fulfilling his promise to improve the welfare of traditional rulers, pledging that the royal fathers would continue to support government policies.
Dignitaries present at the ceremony included the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, and the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Victor Kiladejo, among others.#
