LG Election: Lawmaker, Peter Ojedokun Congratulates Ibarapa North Chairman, Commends Makinde, OYSIEC, PDP
Member representing Ibarapa North state constituency in the Oyo state house of assembly, Hon. Peter Ojedokun has congratulated the Ibarapa North local government chairman, Hon. Lateef Adeleke for his re-election victory at the just concluded council poll in Oyo state.
Hon. Ojedokun who is a two term lawmaker made this known while speaking with newsarena.ng at his residence in his home town, Igangan, Ibarapa North local government.
The lawmaker and community leader also congratulated Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the state for the unity and support garnered to win all the 33 local government areas in the state.
Hon. Ojedokun who had earlier expressed confidence that the party will sweep all the seats in the election said Igangan and Ibarapa North in general is a place where residents will always choose PDP over other parties.
He advised the chairman elect to continue to be good ambassador of PDP and deliver dividend of democracy to the people at the grassroots saying “you know local government is the closest to the people, I want him to continue where he stopped. Let him continue on road construction and rehabilitation, provision of pipe borne water and security of lives and property”
Hon. Ojedokun while commending OYSIEC for conducting an hitch free council election, described the exercise as peaceful and orderly.
