The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran aka Jandor, has boosted of his readiness to unseat the incumbent, governor Babajide Sanwoolu in the 2023 governorship election in the state.
Jandor disclosed this at the weekend while interacting with journalists in Ibadan at the the 20th reunion anniversary of the Polytechnic Ibadan 2002 Association of Mass Communication Students, ASCOM.
The Lagos PDP Guber Candidate expressed confidence that his party would win the election, ‘beating’ governor Sanwoolu and his godfathers.
“I’m not just running as a governor, I’m running to end the dynasty that has been in Lagos for the past twenty three years, we want to birth a breath of fresh air” He said.
He said that “I’m going to defeat the incumbent, I will beat Sanwo-olu, beat his godfather home and abroad”
Speaking on whether the security situation in the country would not affect the 2023 election, Jandor said It’s almost getting to be a routine for people in some quarters to speak about insecurity and raise concerns during every electioneering.
He said the party in Lagos State was prepared and hope for a successful 2023 general elections.
The Lagos PDP party flag bearer said despite the high security threat and alarm raised by international community, electorate should not entertain any fear but must be security conscious.
In a remark on the occasion, the Chairman ASCOM board of trustees, Mr. Yusuf Olamiji described the event as a home-coming and celebration of God’s grace in the last twenty years, adding that the members had the opportunity of refreshing memories of their school days.
