Joan Tomilola, the daughter of Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran Lagbami Osekun the third, Onpetu of the Ijeru Kingdom, has reclaimed her freedom after spending 48 hours in the lair of her captors.
While traveling from Abeokuta to Ogbomoso, Tomilola was abducted on Friday night in the area of Sat Guru Marhaj Castle in Ibadan.
On Sunday night, Amotekun Operatives took the victim to the palace.
After his daughter spent 48 hours in captivity, Oba Oyediran Onpetu was ecstatic and grateful to God for the safe return of his daughter.
Olori Subuola and the monarch were seen celebrating at the palace with chiefs and family members.
Following the news of her return, people have turned the palace to a mecca of some sort to celebrate Tomilola’s release with the monarch and his family.
