Youths in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State are set to benefit from a three-day technical training programme on battery pack design and manufacturing aimed at equipping them with practical skills in renewable energy technology.
The initiative is sponsored by Hon. Tolulope Olukokun, an Oyo State House of Assembly candidate, in partnership with technical firms ClimEdge and Cellloop, which are expected to provide the technical expertise for the programme.

The programme, scheduled to hold from September 14 to 16, will expose participants to the development of solar light batteries, inverter batteries, battery pack components and assembly, battery management systems, as well as hands-on project development.

According to report, registration for the training will close on August 31, with interested Kajola youths urged to register before the deadline.
The organisers said the training is designed to equip young people with practical skills that are increasingly in demand in Nigeria’s growing renewable energy and battery technology sector.
Participants will receive practical instruction on battery pack design and manufacturing processes, including battery management systems, with emphasis on handson learning and project development.
The initiative is expected to improve the technical capacity of youths in Kajola, promote selfemployment opportunities, and encourage innovation in clean energy solutions.
Interested applicants have been advised to complete their registration before the August 31 deadline to secure participation in the training programme.
