JUST IN: Number Of Casualties Yet Unknown As Multiple Vehicles Crash In Ibadan

A fatal accident has occurred at Soka area of Ibadan, on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, at about eight O Clock this morning, 24th June, 2025.
The collision involved three Nissan Micra taxis and three articulated vehicles
According to witnesses, all the vehicles involved in the accident were coming from the Iwo Road axis of Ibadan.
Details about the number of casualties are still emerging, as the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Oyo State Command, is at the scene as at the time of filling this report
The sector commandant, Mrs. Rosemary Alo, confirmed that the number of casualties has not been ascertained due to the ongoing rescue operations.
As at the time of this report, the accident scene is being managed by emergency responders, who are working to rescue those trapped in the wreckage and provide medical attention to the injured.
