Jacob Funmi Ogunmola, the candidate for the ATISBO/Saki East/Saki West federal seat, has passed away, according to Western Daily News. Confirmed
Ogunmola, the former chairman of the ATISBO local government, passed away shortly after going to an event in Saki.
The philanthropist passed away while being transported from Saki to Lagos, his base, according to a source close to him.
Another source said that he had just finished a programme in Saki when he complained he was not well. They were on their way to Lagos when he breathed his last.
