The president of a socio-political group in Oyo state, Providence Coalition, Prince Niran Adeyoju has appealed to Nigerians to have faith and support the President Bola Tinubu administration’s strive for better country.
Prince Niran Adeyoju made the appeal in a message on the occasion of this year’s Nigeria Democracy Day being celebrated on June 12, every year.
Recall that former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2018 declared June 12 every year as a day set aside to mark Nigeria’s democracy day which was in honour of Chief MKO Abiola, the adjudged winner of the 1993 presidential election.
Prince Adeyoju while congratulating president Bola Tinubu and Nigerians in general said June 12 should be a day to remember the years past and look at the possibilities before the country in order to strive for better future.
He said “We should remember not to leave the faith of our country in the hands of our leaders alone, as it is the responsibility of everyone to make it greater. Have faith in Nigeria and president Tinubu led administration”
“Do not forget to pray for this country, do not forget to pray for our leaders. Good job, better life, peace and stability – these are the things we should pray for as well”
“We must all have faith in what we do, we must all be free in our mentality, we must understand the power of unity and we must utilise it. On this day, we all should think how our future is so bright and full of colour. I hope that you can see it like I can.”
“We all feel pride for our country. We feel pride because we know that it is on its path to light, and we will get there soon. With President Tinubu on board, we are certain that things will turn out to be better for all of us in the nearest future.”
