Ido LG Communities Declare Support For Adeojo’s House of Representatives Ambition, Give Reason
Community leaders under Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State have declared their support for the Executive Chairman, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, in his bid for a seat in the House of Representatives.
The endorsement was made by the Chairman of the Community Development Council (CDC), Omi Apata LCDA, Engr. Lawal Tunde Salawudeen, who spoke on behalf of member communities, cited Adeojo’s performance and commitment to grassroots development as reasons for their decision.
Salawudeen noted that the council chairman had demonstrated consistent dedication to community welfare, stressing that the support being extended to him was a form of appreciation for his impactful leadership. According to him, Adeojo’s administration had significantly strengthened community development efforts across Ido Local Government.
He highlighted some of the achievements recorded under Adeojo’s leadership including the donation of two offices to the CDC, prompt response to community needs, and the elevation of Omi Apata LCDA and Ido Local Government’s profile at the state level.
The CDC chairman further stated that community leaders have enjoyed a cordial working relationship with the Adeojo administration, adding that they are fully prepared to support him in his quest for higher office.
“Adeojo has done well for all communities within Ido Local Government, including Omi Apata LCDA. No community will be left behind in mobilising support for his House of Representatives ambition,” Salawudeen said.
Also speaking, a CDC member, Mr. Ajibike, commended Adeojo’s contributions to community development, describing him as a reliable and proactive administrator who has consistently fulfilled his promises.
The community leaders reaffirmed their commitment to rallying support for Adeojo, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver effective representation if elected.
