The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has felicitated with all teachers in Ido Local Government and across Oyo State on the occasion of this year’s World Teachers’ Day celebration.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Adeojo described teachers as the true pillars of nation-building, mentors, and architects of our future whose sacrifices and dedication can never be overemphasized.
He said teachers play an indispensable role in shaping the character, knowledge, and future of our children, and their contribution to the development of Ido Local Government and Oyo State is immeasurable.
“On this special day, on behalf of the Government and good people of Ido Local Government, I celebrate all our teachers in public and private schools across our 10 wards. Your selfless service, patience and commitment to nurturing our future leaders despite challenges is deeply appreciated,” the Chairman stated.
Hon. Adeojo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting education and improving teachers’ welfare at the grassroots, in line with the education transformation agenda of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, who has continued to prioritize education in Oyo State.
He prayed for God’s protection, wisdom, and more fulfilling years for all teachers and wished them a happy and memorable World Teachers’ Day celebration.
