Ido/Ibarapa East: Otunba Masolanu Adeolu Stands Out From Other Aspirants – APC Youth Group • Urges APC To Follow Due Process
A sociopolitical youth group in Oyo state, Eruwa Progressives Youths has described an Aspirant vying for Ido Ibarapa East Federal Constituency seat under the All Progressives Congress, APC Masolanu Adeolu from Eruwa has a man with track record
The group in a statement signed by its secretary, comrade Razak Adelodun said Masolanu standout from all the aspirants and has demonstrated his readiness and preparedness for the job.
The statement reads:
“We have been following, with keen interests, developments around the primary for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress, APC.
“We noticed that of all the Aspirants who showed interest to represent the Constituency under the platform of the APC, one of them stand out.
“Otunba Masolanu Adeolu from Eruwa has demonstrated his readiness and preparedness for the job.
“Of all the Aspirants, both from Ido and Ibarapa East, he is the only one who has been visible, both physically and in the Press.
“You could easily track his activities and monitor his programs on a daily basis.
“His anticidents as a successful young man, a grassroots politician and a philanthropist stand him out.
“His personal political structures transcends Ibarapa East but is also evident in Ido Local Government.
“Apart from his meetings and consultations, Otunba Masolanu also demonstrated his readiness through the branding of two vehicles immediately he made intention public.
“Some members of our Group were with him three days ago when he went to check the premises of a facility which he has been planning to use as a Vocational Training Center.
“This is to further confirm his readiness for the job.
“There have been so many dangerous but unfounded rumors flying around about a purported prepared list of candidates.
“We are aware that the Electoral Act provides for Consensus as one of the ways through which a Candidate might emerge but the same Law also describes how the Consensus arrangement should work.
“We are also aware of the fact that if Consensus arrangement doesn’t work, the only valid option remaining is Direct primaries.
“We are urging the Leadership of the APC in Oyo state to ensure that the letters of the Electoral Act are strictly adhered to in the process of selecting a Candidate for the Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency.
“We will support every decision of the Party, once due process are allowed.
“Otunba Masolanu Adeolu’s aspiration goes beyond him.
“It is like a Movement, a Community driven Movement.
“We trust that due process will be followed in arriving at the choice of the Candidate for Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency.
