Ibarapa East LG Secretary, Olaito Flags Off Christmas Gift Distribution To PDP Loyalists

The Secretary to Ibarapa East Local Government, Eruwa, Evang. Dele Olaito, has flagged off the distribution of Christmas gifts to loyal members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) within the local government area.
The event drew a large crowd of beneficiaries eager to receive the gift as the initiative was part of his ongoing commitment to empower and support loyalists of PDP across the ten wards. The gesture was motivated by a desire to bring relief and joy, particularly during yuletide.
Speaking during the commencement of the exercise, Evang. Olaito said the gesture was aimed at appreciating party loyalists for their continued support and commitment to the ideals of the PDP.
He noted that the distribution of clothing items formed part of activities to mark the Christmas season and to bring relief to party members across the council area.
Evang. Olaito, who is widely known for his philanthropic and community-oriented engagements, stated that he had consistently supported the people for several years, even before assuming public office.
He emphasised that his commitment to the welfare of party loyalists and residents of Ibarapa East would remain unwavering.
While addressing beneficiaries, he urged them to continue working closely with party leaders to ensure the growth and sustainability of the PDP beyond 2027.
“Our strength as a party lies in unity and collaboration. I encourage all loyal members to remain steadfast and to continue supporting the leadership of the party for its continuity and success.”
The local government secretary further disclosed that the distribution of gifts would be extended to PDP loyalists across the ten wards of Ibarapa East Local Government.
He added that his empowerment initiatives had touched many lives since he assumed public service and would be sustained.
Evang. Olaito assured party members that the year 2026 would usher in remarkable benefits, promising that they would experience unprecedented dividends of democracy.
He expressed appreciation to the leader of PDP, High Chief Adewale Atanda; the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin and Executive Chairman of Ibarapa East Local Government,Hon. Kazeem Owolabi Arogundade for their support and leadership.
The SLG also called on Nigerians to support presidential ambition of Governor Seyi Makinde in 2027 general elections.
According to him, Governor Makinde has made significant contributions to the development of the state, particularly through the prompt payment of salaries, pensions and gratuities.
“Leaders who prioritise the welfare of workers and retirees are rare. Governor Seyi Makinde has demonstrated uncommon generosity and commitment to good governance in Oyo State,” Evang Olaito said.
