In a strategic move to bolster community security, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa East LGA, Hon. Kazeem Owolabi Arogundade, has held a comprehensive meeting with leaders of security agencies across the council area.
It was gathered that the agenda of the security meeting centered on improving the safety of lives and property in Eruwa and its environs.

Hon. Arogundade charges the key security heads including, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) — Ibarapa East Divisional Police Station, Commander of the local Amotekun Corps detachment, Officer-in-charge of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Heads of the Nigeria Customs Service mobile unit and Senior military liaison from the nearest Nigerian Army checkpoint

During the meeting, the Chairman reiterated his commitment to ensuring all residents feel safe and secure in their homes and communities.
Key Highlights of the meeting are Data-Sharing and Patrol Coordination, Strengthening Vigilante Partnerships, Rapid Response Teams on Standby and Community Engagement Strategy
The security agency heads agreed to establish a regular intelligence-sharing protocol and launch coordinated foot and vehicle patrols across hot-spots and towns like Eruwa, Lanlate, and surrounding settlements.
