The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa East Local Government, Hon. Kazeem Owolabi Arogundade has commiserated with Hon. (Dr) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, Member Representing Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency over the demise of his father.
In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Femi Ojedokun, the council boss described the demise of the deceased who died at the age of 89 years as a colossal loss not only to Ibarapa land but Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
According to Hon. Arogundade, “Pa Amos Adepoju was a shining light and a beacon of encouragement. “He was active, devoted and committed in the service of God till death.
The council boss also stated that Pa Amos Adepoju was a strong man, a mentor, a counselor, a peacemaker, disciplinarian and a soul winner who was diligent in the kingdom assignment.
The Ibarapa East Local Government chairman prayed that the Lord should grant Pa Adepoju eternal rest and also give Hon.(Dr) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju and entire Adepoju’s family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
