The Ibarapa APC Initiative has extended deepest sympathies to the family, Ibadan North Federal Constituency and the APC in Oyo State over the sudden demise of Rep. Musiliu Akinremi, popularly known as Jagaban.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Hon Wale Adeoye and Secretary, Hon. Ramota Okemakinde.
The statement made available to newsmen on Saturday in Ibadan, described late Akinremi’s passing as a significant void in the state.
The group described the late Akinremi as a grassroots politician, deeply committed to the empowerment and development of his people and the state at large.
It commended late Akinremi’s unwavering dedication to his constituents, adding his significant contributions to state and national development would be sorely missed.
“Late Akinremi was known for his robust and articulate contributions to national discourse in the National Assembly.
“He was fearless in his fight against corruption and was steadfast in his commitment to the creation of additional State Constituencies in Oyo State,” the group said.
The group said that the late Akinremi’s efforts in the above mentioned areas have left indelible mark on the legislative landscape and would be remembered for years to come.
It said that Akinremi’s death was a colossal loss, not only to his immediate family but also to the entire APC family in Oyo State.
The group prayed that Almighty Allah grants him Aljanat Firdaos and provides comfort to his family.
It also extended its prayers to the entire APC family in Oyo State, hoping they find the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
