The Iwo-Ayedire-Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency Peoples Democratic Party Candidate in the 2023 general election, Alhaji Lukman Kayode Mudashiru (L&K) has described the judgment of Osun 2022 Election Petition Tribunal as biased.
He also noted that Governor Ademola Adeleke will complete his term as the Governor of Osun state as he is confident that Appeal Court will upturn the tribunal’s judgement.
Speaking to newsmen in Osogbo over the weekend, Mudashiru argued that the judgement as read by Justice Tertsea Kume did not prove that there was over voting and also stated that the judgment noted as well, that the All Progressives Congress did not present enough evidence of over voting.
He then questioned the basis of the judgment, while maintaining that the use of the word “go lo lo lo” and “buga won” that was used in the judgement made it obvious the judges have an issue with the personality of Senator Ademola Adeleke.
He said “the judgment that was read was biased and its a disgrace to the Nigeria judicial system.
Osun Tribunal: “No Majority Judgment” – Gov Adeleke Declares On Statewide Broadcast
“I am however confident that the people’s Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke will complete his tenure as the Governor of Osun state because we will appeal this commercial judgement bought by APC and we will win.
“We can evidently say now that APC had manipulated the judgment process and thats why they have been boasting around that Gboyega Oyetola who actually lost an election will come back as the state governor.
“That means they have planned it a long time ago to buy the judgment and that is what played out today.”
Mudashiru then urge PDP members across the state to remain steadfast and work towards the victory of all PDP candidates in the 2023 general election.
“I want to appeal to our party members across the state not give up, we are the winners and nothing can take our victory from us.
“Let’s keep up our faith and continue working towards winning the Presidential Election for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and also for all other candidates of PDP across the state”, he said.
