Gov. Adeleke Commissions Fire Service Trucks In Osogbo

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke says he will not relent at ensuring safety of lives and property of citizens in the state.

Governor Adeleke stated this at the inauguration of two fire service trucks at Abere, Osun State.

The Governor noted that incidences of fire in the state prompted the state government to empower the Fire Service Department to curtail loss of lives and property to fire.

While advising residents to avoid indiscriminate bush burning and other errors that could lead to fire incidents, Governor Adeleke said his administration would continue to do more to equip Fire Service Department.

He pointed out that the provision of additional Fire trucks would aid the quick response of firemen to cases of fire incidents across the state.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Home Affairs, Mr. Rasheed Aderibigbe had explained that the purchase of two trucks was to improve the fire fighting delivery of the state fire service to protect lives and property of the citizens.
