2 division Nigerian Army, Ibadan has enjoined residents in communities around Odogbo Barracks not to panic on hearing the sound of firing during the shooting exercise which will begin on Tuesday, 8th August, till 18th of this month.
This is contained in a statement signed by the acting Deputy director, Army Public Relations, 2 Division, Lieutenant Colonel, Charles Ekeocha.
The statement notes that apart from the residents, those farming within the vicinity were advised to avoid the range area throughout the period.
It notes that the annual range Classification 2023 at the Major General of Azinta shooting range was aimed to test, refresh and enhance the weapon handling lessons, as well as to assess the marksmanship skills of the troops.
