Ex-International, Finidi George will be in charge when the Super Eagles of Nigeria faces Ghana and Mali during the current international break.
The 52-year-old former winger has been appointed by the NFF as an interim coach for the two international friendly games.
Nigeria is expected to take on the Black stars of Ghana on Friday at the Grand Stade de Marrakech in Morocco, before facing Mali at the same stadium next week Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Taiwo Awoniyi of Nottingham Forest were among the players ruled out of Nigeria’s friendly games against Ghana and Mali.
The Super Eagles camp for the game opened on Tuesday. But Osimhen, Africa’s Player of the Year, would miss the matches, according to an update on the team’s social media page.
Osimhen, 25, has struggled with fitness in the past weeks and will not make the 22nd and 26 March friendly matches.
