Former Oyo state house of assembly lawmaker who represented Afijio state constituency, Hon Seyi Adisa has commiserated with the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo state, political associates, the good people of Afijio local government and family of late Hon Lukman Anwo who until his death was the Oyo state APC auditor.
The death of Hon. Lukman Anwo, a one-time local government chairman in Afijio local government area of the state, was announced in Ibadan by the APC state publicity secretary, Olawale Sadare on Friday.
Adisa who expressed deep sorrow in a statement made available to newsarena.ng said the passing of the revered politician was a big loss to APC, Afijio and the entire political arena in Oyo state.
He said Hon. Anwo was a dedicated public servant whose commitment to the development of Oyo state, Afijio and APC will be remembered fondly.
He explained that “His leadership in Afijio Local Government and his contributions to the APC will leave a lasting impact on our community.
“During this time of mourning, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones of Hon. Lukman Anwo. May they find strength and comfort in this difficult time.
