Eko 2024: Minister, Lagos Governor, Others To Attend ASLTON 39th Scientific Conference On Nov 4.
The 39th annual conference and scientific workshop of the Association of Science Laboratory Technology of Nigeria, ASLTON will begin on Monday 4th November, 2024.
The event which is in collaboration with the Nigeria Institute of Science Laboratory Technology, NISLT, is tagged Eko 2024.
According to the president of ASLTON, Pastor Ayotunde Omorilewa, the conference with the theme “Artificial intelligence: fundamental and application in science laboratory technology research towards a sustainable national economy ” is expected to be chaired by the Honourable Minister, Ministry Of Innovation, science and technology, Chief Uche Nnaji.
Pastor Omorilewa further encourage scientists and researchers to attend the one week event holding at MRC hall, Lagos state University College Of Medicine, LASUCOM at Oba Akinjobi road, Ikeja, Lagos .
Speakers at the event include the Director, D. K Olukoya Central Research Laboratory, Professor Wellington Oyibo, the Director General, Nigeria Institute Of Science Laboratory Technology Doctor Hezekiah Gbadegesin, the director, LASU directorate of Research Management Innovation, Professor Adejuwon Adeneye and the Lagos state chairman of ASLTON, Simeon Dike.
The Lagos State governor, Babatunde Sanwo Olu is expected to be the special guest of Honour at the conference.
