Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, the governor of Ekiti State, has appointed eight new Special Advisers to fill a number of critical positions in his administration.
Mr. Niyi Adebayo, is to oversee the budget, economic planning, and performance management, Mrs. Tayo Adeola, oversees investments, trade, and industry, Mr. Ebenezer Boluwade, who oversees agriculture and food security, and Dr. Kofoworola Aderiye, who is to oversee education, science, and technology are the new special advisers who hold cabinet-level positions.
Additionally, Mr. Tope Ogunleye of the Bureau is for Special Projects, Chief Jide Awe for Political and Inter-Party Affairs, Mr. Seun Fakuade of Governance, Reforms, and Innovation, and Mr. Yinka Oyebode of Media and Strategy/Chief Press Secretary.
Governor Oyebanji, in a statement by his Chief press secretary, Mr. Yinka Oyebode urged the new Special Advisers to see their appointments as an opportunity to contribute to the development of Ekiti State.
On Friday, November 18, 2022, the new Special Advisers will take the oath of office.
As of right away, retired brigadier general Ebenezer Ogundana has been reappointed as the governor’s special adviser on security matters.
