Member of the house of representatives, Hon Dhikrirulai Stanley Olajide ‘Odidiomo’ has felicitated muslim faithful across Oyo state on the occassion of this year’s Eid el Maulud
In a message by the lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/south west federal constituency, said the occasion requires Nigerians to renew the virtues exemplified by Prophet Muhammad, “teaching us compassion, honesty, humility, justice and service to humanity.”
The statement reads in part:
“This blessed occasion calls us to renew the virtues exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) teaching us compassion, honesty, humility, justice and service to humanity.
“May this celebration strengthen the bond of peace in our communities, deepen our commitment to mutual respect and inspire us to care for the vulnerable.
“I pray that Allah grant our homes joy, our state progress and our nation unity and security.
“Eid Mubarak to you and your families.
