Ẹgbẹ́ Àjọṣepọ̀ Fún Ìtẹsiwájú Gbogbo Wa, an organization advocating for gubernatorial power rotation in Oyo State, has expressed deep sorrow regarding the passing of Abisola Kola-Daisi, daughter of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Mrs. Kola-Daisi passed away in the United Kingdom on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the age of 42.

A statement released on Saturday by Pastor Favour Adewoyin, General Secretary of Ẹgbẹ́ Àjọṣepọ̀ Fún Ìtẹsiwájú Gbogbo Wa, conveyed the organization’s profound condolences.

The association characterized Mrs. Kola-Daisi’s death as a significant and grievous loss, extending beyond her immediate family to encompass Oyo State and the nation.

The statement highlighted her professional accomplishments, noting her service as Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu. Her contributions to public service were recognized as substantial and will be deeply missed.

The organization extended its sincere condolences to her husband, Idris Kolapo Kola-Daisi, her mother, Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, and the broader Kola-Daisi and Ajimobi families.

“Mrs. Kola-Daisi was a person of notable grace, intellectual acuity, and unwavering dedication, consistently embodying principles of excellence and service,” the statement read.

“Her untimely passing is a source of profound grief. We offer our prayers for her eternal repose and for the solace of her bereaved family during this period of immense sorrow.”

The association called upon friends, colleagues, and the residents of Oyo State to offer their support and prayers to the grieving families as they navigate this period of mourning.
