Collapsed Ipin River Bridge in Eruwa, Ibarapa East Reconstructed, Reconnecting over 50 Communities

In October 2024, a heavy downpour flooded the Ipin River bridge, causing its collapse and cutting off over 50 villages from Eruwa, Ibarapa East Local Government, Oyo State.
Hon. Kazeem Arogundade, Executive Chairman of Ibarapa East, swiftly responded to the situation, initiating immediate reconstruction to reconnect the communities.

However, Hon Arogundade has announced that the collapsed Ipin River bridge has been fully reconstructed, along with the rehabilitation of the 350m road along the old Eruwa-Ibadan road.

According to the chairman, this vital infrastructure project is now completed and open for the public use.
“The reconstruction has restored connectivity between Eruwa and surrounding communities, facilitating the movement of people, goods, and services.
“This project has significantly improved the socio-economic lives of the people and enhanced the area’s overall development.
