Class ’94, Methodist Grammar Sch’l, Bodija Fights Cholera in Alma Mater, Renovates Toilet Facilities

As nigeria put up efforts to curtail the spread of cholera especially at public schools, the 94 set alumni of Methodist Grammar school, Bodija Ibadan, MGSB has renovated a six room block of toilet facility in the school

The toilet, converted from pit latrine to water closet was among other projects including five solar security lights, New pumping machine and water storage tank donated as the set marks thirty years of graduation from the school.

Handing over the projects to the principal of the school, President, Methodist Grammar school, Bodija, Ibadan , MGSB Alumni 94 set, Mr ‘Dele Ibikunle said the project was borne out of their allegiance to the school for impacting exceptional qualities which had distinguished them in their various fields of endeavours.

While noting that upgrading of the facilities was to shore up the guards against the spread of cholera in the school, Mr Ibikunle enjoined the students to make judicious use of the facilities.

Principal of the (Senior Section), Olayinka Etadon appreciated the 94 set for prompt rescue of the school.

The principal, also an old student of the school, affirmed that the standard of teaching and learning of the school remains intact, calling on other sets to rise to the pressing needs of the school

The old students, among whom is the Deputy Director Finance and Account, Radio Nigeria, Ibadan Zonal Station, Dugbe, Ibadan, Mr Akin Amole were thrilled with cultural dance by the students.
