CAC Oke Agbara, Ashi, Ordains Providence Coalition Publicity Secretary, David Oluokun, Wife
The Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Agbara, Ashi Ibadan has ordained the publicity secretary, Providence Coalition group, Mr David Oluokun and his wife, Grace as Deacon and Deaconess of the church.
The church also ordained Dr. Akinlolu Akinade as a deacon
At the event which took place over the weekend at the CAC Oke Agbara, English Assembly auditorium, Ashi, the assembly pastor, pastor Sam Olowere admonished the newly ordained elders to prioritize faithfulness to God and man; selflessness; Good character; humility and willingness to learn.
Pastor Olowere in sermon titled “A Call To Serve” taken from Nehemiah 2:11-15 said, to serve God is not by position or title but by responsibilities
The cleric who said God is expecting more from the newly ordained elders, explained that the way to be a leader is to serve.
In a Goodwill message on the occasion, the president, Providence Coalition and chairman, SDM Group, Prince Niran Adeyoju promised consistent and continuous support to the church’s growth.
Speaking with newsarena.ng, the newly ordained elders who is also the personal assistant to Prince Niran Adeyoju, Elder David Oluokun and wife, Deaconess Grace Oluokun as well as Dr Akinlolu Akinade appreciated God for choosing them for the task.
